RETIRE MY HUSBAND ———- CHECK!!!!!!!!!!
I CANNOT BELIEVE I am even typing these words BUT as of OCTOBER 7th, 2016 we will OFFICIALLY BE a FULL-TIME FAMILY <3Andrew Engle has gotten an OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE!!!
Last night was full of tears, hugs and SMILES! As most of you know who follow me WE are a PROUD Air Force Family and I could not be more honored to wear the badge of military wife NOR more proud of the accomplishments and sacrifices that Andrew has made for our country!!! However, most of you know that THAT comes with a PRICE. Living apart, always being afraid of deployment, never being in control of a schedule that kept us away from each other 90% of the time and him not getting to truly do what he LOVES doing was really taking a HUGE TOLL on both of us.
2 years ago when I started this business, I made a CRAZY GOAL and wrote it on my white board that said “Retire Andrew” – meaning that I would make enough with my business to fully support our family, replace his and my income, and then some to let us be able to make this a FAMILY BUSINESS. I hit that goal a long time ago BUT as you all know, the military isn’t something you just QUIT. HAHA!
We have been waiting on word for about a YEAR. And it finally came through. .. SEE, we had a dream when we met. A dream that was LITERALLY impossible for two people living like we were. A dream that we really lost sight of FOR A LONG time being dragged down by DEBT, UNEMPLOYMENT, really being a SLAVE to whatever job we had. A dream to have the freedom to be TOGETHER always, never wait for family vacation to spend time, to have children and NOT WORRY about who will have to miss which event or who can’t drive who to school, the freedom to live where ever we want and travel where ever we want WITHOUT STRESS. THAT is the dream we have been working towards since we MET each other nearly 6 years ago.
AND TODAY, I can TYPE that as of October 7th, 2016 that dream will be REAL. We are forever grateful to the Air Force and the opportunity it gave us. BUT its time to start TRULY LIVING THE LIFE we have always wanted…. TOGETHER. I LOVE YOU BABE!! CONGRATS! And so PROUD to call myself YOUR WIFE and can’t wait to work every single day by your side, however we want.
