GAHHHHHHH we are just FULL of incredible surprises LATELY!!!!! Announcement AFTER ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!! I was going to wait to make this one public BUT after my EPIC little adventure to pick out our FUTURE HOME, I wanted to SHARE that JOURNEY with you all!!!!!
RIGHT when we got the news that Andrew Englewas going to be released it was the biggest sigh of relief we have felt in a LONG time. We FINALLY get to LIVE THE LIFE we want TOGETHER, full time, no danger lurking around the corner, no possible changes or deployment, we get to LIVE together now which is something we have been working towards FOREVER!!!!!
WE KNEW we wanted to go back East because THAT is where the majority of Andrew’s family and my family are SPREAD: all along the eastern coast. And while WE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Cali, it will bring us some comfort being just a car ride away if need be!!!! BUT, our souls need the ocean, so we have decided on FLORIDA!!!! THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
I got to head back East to see some friends and then met my MOM in FLORIDA to pick out a house with me since Andrew couldn’t get off work! OH THE PRESSURE!!!!!!!!!
THE FACT that we can even GET a home simply blows my mind because TWO years ago before all of this, not even a CON ARTIST would let us buy a home, let alone approve us for anything. AFTER COMING BACK from 200k in defaulted student debt building back our lives from scratch WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT ALL and have come out on top. That gives me PRIDE and HOPE and just makes me incredibly thankful for this opportunity, life and ability!!!!!
To most this might not be that big of a deal, but this will be Andrew and I’s 5th move since we have been together – MOST of these moves have been negative / left us IN the negative and always sacrificing. It feels so good to finally be IN CONTROL of where we go, the house we buy, and to have it be a NON-STRESSFUL situation! It’s such an incredible blessing. I CANT WAIT to take you all on this adventure with us!!!!!!!! THANK YOU for following along our journey so far! The military and California were where we turned our circumstances around and now we start FRESH!!!!! <3
