Taking some quiet time to go over my slides for presenting at summit (the annual BeachBody event you’ve been seeing me at if you follow me on social media!) and I got a little misty eyed.
If you follow me, you MAY think success was always a thing for me or that these events were the NORM – but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. When I first signed up to be a coach I had HUGE DREAMS but they were light years away. I heard about this HUGE convention (Summit) about 3 months in, still in 200k of debt, still filled with so much anxiety, so much doubt but this little voice inside said …FOLLOW ME!!!
My very first summit was a LIFE CHANGING EVENT. I went on a nearly maxed out credit card scared to swipe for fear of being declined, shared a room with 4 other people I had never met and watched as all this success surrounded me and it all seemed so far and what I sacrificed to be there seemed so great.
The only thing I can say is….. IT IS WORTH IT! That very first summit I made a goal to be have a top 10 team and be speaking on stage and 2 years later… I blew my own dang mind!!
What I’m saying is, this business takes GUTS, it takes going out on a limb, it takes having VISION and making sacrifices EVEN if you ARE where I WAS. But as I sit here, I can’t help but think how glad I am that I overcame so that I could be here marveling at all that have changed and the lives that ME AND MY TEAM will now impact.
Thank GOD for that SCARED LITTLE PRE BEACHBODY BONNIE that said I’M GONNA GO FOR IT.
