There is no doubt in my mind I was meant to rescue LuLu. She has taught me so much.
Today she taught me I can go from ZERO to Momma BEAR in 2 seconds FLAT.
Yes, my dog is barking like a crazy, yes my dog has intense anxiety but does that give you the right to make a snap judgment and say to your friend that my dog doesn’t deserve to be here? Did you take the time to ask me WHY she was acting that way?
Lulu has taught me patience, love, consistency, and now PROTECTIVENESS. I snapped back at that lady really quick and I hope next time she is stressed no one judges HER on her momentary actions.
YOU NEVER KNOW someone’s past. That person/dog could have been abused, burned, had a bad experience and just because they look a certain way doesn’t mean they follow the stereo types you placed on them.
Even though LuLu’s lessons are hard, I am thankful everyday that we rescued this little MESS who wouldn’t be with us today if we didn’t have that courage. We are responsible, respectful dog owners who do the beat to rehabilitate this sweet baby. And we don’t need any judgments from others. And others don’t need judgments.
