I get it daily. I don’t have enough time to workout, to meal prep, to be a coach. I used to be like that FOR SURE! When I first started coach I was working THREE other jobs and pretty miserable about it haha! The thought of adding another thing to my plate was the least appealing thing ever, so I put it off for a while.
Until a moment came that stopped me in my tracks. It had just been another Christmas with no presents, a New Years we both had to work and I stopped to wonder, is this how life is supposed to be?
And then I re-evaluated HONESTLY with myself. Was I ACTUALLY “too busy”? I realized that the reality for me was that it just wasn’t a priority for me to change my circumstances – UNTIL I realized how short life is. How the only way we DON’T have time is if we work our lives away constantly being “too busy” to try something that just could make us healthier, financially stable and relieve a lot of that urgent busy feeling. After this life changing realization, I signed up as a coach and I took control of all those feelings DESPITE having THREE jobs (now 4 including coaching).
BECAUSE….In fact, I wasn’t busy…. I was using it as a badge of honor.
Like, I’m too busy for that. Don’t people know how much I do?! HAHAHA!!!! Life is so sweet BUT SO MUCH SHORTER THAN you think. Don’t let another holiday season go by telling yourself YOU ARE LAST and YOU are too busy. It’s sad.
Try TODAY as you go through your day, how much time of blank mind space do you have? Do you sit on the couch? Do you mindlessly scroll? Do you have pockets of time where you could be doing better? When I did this, it changed my world . I wasn’t too busy….. I was looking to SAY I WAS so I could protect myself from the things I wasn’t doing.
